Time tracking workers actually get right

Effiora gives you time tracking the way it fits your company: live clock-in/out with GPS verification at the site, self-reporting where workers confirm planned hours — or both. The app works offline and comes in eight languages, so every worker manages from day one.

Three models — you choose per company

GPS clock-in

Workers clock in and out in the app, and their position is verified against the site's coordinates. Location is read only at the moment of clocking — no tracking.

Self-reporting

Workers confirm planned hours or enter from/to times themselves — for companies that do not want live clocking.

Both

Combine the models side by side — for example clocking in the field and self-reporting for admin staff.

Built for real field work

  • Works offline — clock in from a basement with no coverage; the app syncs automatically once back online
  • Live status on the lock screen — iOS Live Activity with Dynamic Island and an Android ongoing notification show the timer and task progress during the shift
  • Pause and resume with a running net timer
  • Checklists, photos and notes are ticked off during the shift
  • Forgotten clock-outs are closed automatically by the system
Active shift in the Effiora app: live timer, pause and clock-out, and a checklist with four of five tasks done
iOS lock screen with the Effiora Live Activity: on-shift status with a running timer and progress

Hours land where they belong

Everything registered flows straight into the approval queue and on to the payroll basis — with the shift, the job and any adjustments traceable all the way. No re-typing, no lost notes.

Frequently asked questions

How does GPS clock-in work?

When the worker clocks in or out, their position is compared with the site's coordinates to confirm attendance. Location is read only at the moment of clocking — there is no continuous tracking and no background location.

What if there is no coverage at the site?

The app works offline: clocking, checklists and notes are stored locally and sync automatically when the device is back online.

Can we track time without GPS?

Yes. With self-reporting, workers confirm planned hours or enter from/to times themselves, without clocking. The model is chosen per company, and the two can be combined.

Can workers see their shift status without opening the app?

Yes — on iPhone a Live Activity appears on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island with a running timer and task progress; on Android a persistent notification does the same.

What happens if someone forgets to clock out?

The system automatically closes runaway sessions, and the manager can adjust hours during approval — with a note and audit log, without silently altering the worker's original entry.
