Planning
Recurring schedules per location, with checklists and activity bundles reused across customers.
Effiora gathers the whole operation of a cleaning company in one place: shift scheduling, GPS-verified time tracking, QR-code proof of completed cleaning, absence and substitute management — and a payroll basis that is ready for your accountant in one click. Workers use the mobile app in their own language.
A system for cleaning companies is the software that keeps track of who does what, where and when — and documents that it actually happened. In practice it covers four jobs: planning recurring cleaning per location, recording the hours workers actually put in, proving the completed work to the customer, and producing a payroll basis the accountant can use directly. Effiora covers all four in one system, with a web app for managers and a mobile app for every worker.
Recurring schedules per location, with checklists and activity bundles reused across customers.
Hours are logged where the work happens — GPS-verified or self-reported, even without coverage.
Every location gets a QR code the customer can scan to see what was done, when and by whom.
Approved hours collected into an Excel workbook per employee, absence and supplements in the right columns.
Workers clock in with GPS verification or confirm planned hours in the app — even offline in a basement. Everything is collected automatically.
The customer scans the on-site QR code and sees the last visit, ticked checklists and photos — without calling you.
Sick leave is reported in the app, affected shifts are listed instantly, and you get substitute suggestions ranked by experience at that exact job.
Approve hours in one queue and export a finished Excel workbook per employee — absence in the right columns, supplement hours separated.
The hardest part was keeping track of who was working where, and what had to be done at each job. If I needed to send a substitute, I had to either call the person who was off sick or dig through the contract. And the checklists for customers who required them, I printed by hand every single time — it took time, and it was stressful. Now everything is in one system, available online, for our customers too. We have had nothing but good feedback.

Per-employee Excel workbook with absence columns and night, Saturday, Sunday and holiday hours separated.

The worker app
The cleaner opens the app and sees their day: which buildings, which tasks, when. Clocking, checklists, photos and absence reporting — in their own language, with full offline support. No training week, no misunderstood instructions.
AI
Paste or upload the cleaning contract and Effiora's contract interpreter (powered by Claude AI) generates the jobs and recurring schedules automatically. No manual punching-in of every job.
A cleaning company does not have one user. The owner, the operations manager, the cleaner and the customer each need their own slice of the same picture — and in Effiora that is exactly what they get, without anyone learning a system they do not need.
Sees the operation as a whole: which jobs are staffed, which shifts lack people over the next seven days, and the completion rate per location. The basis for knowing which customers actually work, instead of guessing.
Works in the control room: builds schedules, fills gaps when someone reports absence, approves hours and follows up on deviations. New shifts and jobs can be created from the phone — no trip to the office required.
Opens the app and sees their day: which buildings, which tasks, when. Clocks in, ticks the checklist, takes photos and reports sick leave — in Norwegian, English, Albanian, Lithuanian or Polish.
Scans the on-site QR code and sees the last visit, the checklist that was completed, photos and the next planned visit. No login, no app to install — and no phone call to you asking whether anyone showed up.
This is what a full cycle looks like in Effiora — from winning the customer to hours being ready for the accountant.
Paste the cleaning contract and AI contract import proposes locations, frequency and tasks. You correct what is wrong instead of typing everything from scratch.
Set the recurrence once — weekly, every other week, monthly or quarterly, and shifts are generated 90 days ahead. Unstaffed shifts are flagged before they become a problem.
GPS-verified clock-in or self-reporting, checklists ticked along the way, and photos where needed. It all works offline and syncs when coverage returns.
The QR page updates automatically after each visit. The customer sees completion rate, checklists and photos — and can send anonymous feedback straight to the operations manager.
Approve hours in one queue, catch "missing entry" warnings before they become payroll errors, and export an Excel workbook per employee with absence and supplement hours separated.
Most schedulers are built for retail, restaurants and warehouses: staff show up at one fixed place, and the shift is self-evidently documented by their being there. Cleaning works the opposite way. The work is spread out, often outside business hours, at a customer who never sees anyone arrive.
In an ordinary scheduler you repeat a name and a time slot. In Effiora you repeat the whole job: the checklist, the tasks and the activities belonging to that specific location come back every single time. Set it up once and it is there for good, and the cleaner never has to remember what applies at building number twelve.
Shifts belong to a location, not just to a person. Hours, checklists and history collect per building, so you know what each customer actually costs to serve.
General schedulers have no customer-facing surface. The QR page is built for exactly that conversation, and for winning tenders where documentation counts.
The Norwegian cleaning workforce is multilingual. An app only in Norwegian moves the problem to the operations manager, who ends up translating instructions by hand.
Self-certified absence, sick child, holiday hours and "of which" columns for night, Saturday and Sunday are Norwegian concepts. A system built for another market hands the work back to you in Excel.

Effiora is a Norwegian-built operations system for cleaning companies. It covers shift scheduling, GPS-verified time tracking, QR-code proof of completed cleaning, absence and substitute management and payroll-basis export — with a web app for managers and a mobile app for every worker.
Every location gets its own QR code with a public page. The customer scans it and sees the last and next visit, the completion rate, ticked checklists, photos and notes — no login required. Branded A5 signs with the QR code are generated as PDFs in one click.
Yes. The mobile app is available in eight languages: Norwegian, English, Albanian, Lithuanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and Filipino. Each employee picks their own language, so instructions, checklists and clocking work in a language they understand.
No — you choose the model that fits your company: live GPS-verified clock-in/out, self-reporting where workers confirm planned hours, or both side by side. Location is only read at the moment of clocking either way.
No — deliberately. Effiora produces a complete payroll basis: approved hours, absence in the right columns, and night, Saturday, Sunday and holiday hours separated. Your accountant applies rates and supplements in their payroll system.

The price is set by how many employees you have, not by which features you use. Until 1 January 2027 a launch price applies: 690 NOK per month for 2–9 employees, 1,490 NOK for 10–24, and from 2,490 NOK for 25 and up, excluding VAT (ordinary price from 2027: 990, 2,290 and from 3,990 NOK). Every feature is included in every plan, and there is no setup fee or lock-in period.
Yes. Locations are independent of each other and each has its own address, checklist, schedule and QR page. Addresses are verified against Kartverket, so clock-in recognises the right place wherever in the country the job sits.
Recurrence can be set to weekly, every other week, monthly by date, first or last weekday of the month, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly — so deep cleans and periodic tasks are scheduled automatically. One-off jobs like move-out cleaning are added as single shifts, ideally with a reusable activity bundle for the tasks that always apply.
The app works offline. Clock-ins, checklists and photos are stored locally on the phone and sync automatically when coverage returns — common in basements, parking garages and plant rooms.
No. The public QR page shows what was done — checklists, photos, completion rate and date — but not planned start and end times. That is deliberate, so the customer cannot work out how long you spend and use it in a price negotiation.
No. Effiora is not an invoicing system. What you do get is the basis the invoice rests on — hours per job and documentation of what was actually done — which you can use in whichever system you invoice from today.
In the EU. The service runs at Hetzner in Germany and email goes via Mailjet in France. Each company’s data is isolated with PostgreSQL Row-Level Security in the database itself, not only in the application.
