Scheduling that runs itself

Enter the work plan once and Effiora generates the shifts automatically 90 days ahead — accounting for absence and substitutes. Weekly, every 3rd week, "last Wednesday of the month", quarterly or only in selected months: one rule per contract line, not twelve manual shifts. Unfilled shifts are flagged in the control room, so nothing falls between the cracks.

The Effiora schedule overview: generated shifts with assigned workers, times and status

Every recurrence you need

Weekly, biweekly, every 3rd week

Fixed weekdays in the rhythm the contract specifies: classic daily cleaning, or stairwells every third week.

Monthly by weekday

First, second, third, fourth or last weekday of the month. "Last Wednesday of the month" is one rule.

Quarter, half-year and year

Real calendar quarters, not 13-week strides. Filter changes and deep cleans are planned once.

Selected months only

Skip July, or run only January, April, July and October. The rule follows the season.

Honest preview

Before saving you see how many shifts the rule produces and the real first date.

Fixed or flexible time

Shifts with set times, or flexible shifts where timing is up to the worker.

Nothing falls between the cracks

  • "Unassigned next 7 days" — a dedicated control-room KPI with red flags
  • "Needs attention" — a list with one-click assignment links
  • Absence- and substitute-aware — plans account for who is actually available
  • Checklists per shift — plus reusable activity bundles like "move-out clean" for one-tap shift building

… or just as good an overview when you are on the road

Operations managers do not live behind a screen. The mobile app gives you the same overview of today's and upcoming shifts — and you can create single shifts and entirely new jobs straight from the phone, with address autocomplete against Kartverket. Perfect when you are at the customer agreeing on a start date.

Frequently asked questions

Which recurrences do work plans support?

Weekly, biweekly, every 3rd week, monthly (by date, or the first/second/third/fourth/last weekday of the month), quarterly, biannual and yearly. Every rule can be limited to selected months, for example everything except July. Shifts can have fixed times or be flexible.

How far ahead are shifts generated?

Plans auto-expand into concrete shifts 90 days ahead, accounting for registered absence and substitutes.

How do I see unstaffed shifts?

The control room shows the "Unassigned next 7 days" KPI, red flags on uncovered shifts and a "Needs attention" list with one-click assignment. Unfilled shifts are impossible to miss.

Can I reuse checklists across jobs?

Yes. Activities are collected into reusable bundles, for example a "move-out clean" bundle, added to a shift with one tap.

Can I move or cancel a single shift without changing the plan?

Yes. In the schedule overview you can move one shift to another date, cancel one occurrence (the worker gets a push notification) or move the start date of the whole plan. Permanently deleting a plan requires typing its name first.

Can shifts be created from the phone?

Yes. Operations managers can create both single shifts and new jobs from the mobile app, with address search against Kartverket.
